Humble surroundings will prove no barrier to City in their quest for points at Scunthorpe on Saturday according to defender Wayne Brown.
After big home backing last week, it is off to Glanford Park where the Blue Army will be out in force but a four-figure crowd is still expected although that should not put City off.
Brown said: "It is a very difficult place to go, not the most appealing ground to play at or for the supporters to go and watch at. They are very good at home and they use their ground to their advantage and it will be a tough game.
"I like the compactness of grounds. It is nice to play in that atmosphere. Maybe some of the younger lads feel it might not be the greatest ground and no doubt the older lads and the management team will be drilling into them it is a great place to get three points. "
That would be the form result for City as they go in as favourites but Brown warned: "I am not worried about what other people are saying or doing. We go will there with a professional attitude and get three points."
And another clean sheet as a target? He said: "Very much so, we have had six so far and we need another ten or twelve to get promoted."
Scunthorpe, though, have a dangerous attack and Brown said: "It is always good to play against good strikers who are out to prove a point every week. That makes my job even better, to keep them quiet and that is a job I am happy to do.
"After playing for Hull, just across the river, no doubt I will be getting a lot of stick from them because I used to play for their rivals but that is all part and parcel of the game."
