After seeing two away matches fall victim to the icy-grip that the weather has on the country, City boss Nigel Pearson is keen to see Sunday's home clash with Ipswich Town go ahead and keep up the Walkers Stadium momentum.
The Foxes have won their last three home games and four in a row would underline their promotion credentials.
Pearson said: "Yes it is important to get it played. I am sure there will be a few casualties tomorrow but we are confident the game will be on and we are looking forward to it. We go into this game with a relatively fit squad. There is only Bruno Berner who is probably going to be a problem for us. We are looking pretty good and it is important we keep the winning run going. But it will be a tough game as they have come in to a bit of good form lately."
The weather has caused havoc in the area and the training sessions have, obviously, suffered too.
Pearson said: "It has been difficult, as it will be for most sides, because you can't get out on to the grass. We have had some indoor sessions but it's nothing like the real thing so it is not ideal. We have had to be careful not to overdo the training on those artificial surfaces.
"Having said that, we have gone down to the Stadium so we will get some pitch time but it is a case of making do."
