One constant in the Foxes promotion drive has been goalkeeper Chris Weale who has been an ever-present, emphasising the impact he has made since he joined in the summer from Bristol City.
He did not come here to be anything other than a strong contender for a starting position and his success in that regard is clear.
He said: "I am pleased with the first half of the season. Even though it is a squad game, I have kept my place which is what I set out to achieve but I am only halfway there."
"There is a lot of hard work and dedication still to go and that starts with Ipswich on Sunday. It has just been the start and now we have to push on as a team."
The promotion challenge underlines the ambitions of everyone here and Weale added: "It is all about where you are on 2nd May. You would want to be in the top two but if not then the top six. There is a long way to go and it starts on Sunday - on 2nd May we hope to find ourselves up there.
"I will give it the best of my ability. Ipswich have picked up a good vein of form and they will be a good threat on Sunday."
