Nolberto Solano has signed for Leicester City until the end of the season. The Peruvian trained with the first team squad on Thursday morning.

Solano has made over 300 appearances in English football for Newcastle United, Aston Villa and West Ham United.

The club are trying to gain clearance to allow Solano to play in the FA Cup Fourth Round against Cardiff tomorrow.

Solano's first game at the Walkers Stadium is likely to be against his former club Newcastle next Saturday (January 30).
