Foxes new signing Nolberto Solano is preparing to make his first City appearance against former club Newcastle United this weekend but insists that the focus must be on ensuring that the team wins, and not personal glory. Although the Peruvian does admit he is dreaming of a debut goal!
"It would be fantastic (to score) but it is more important that the team wins. I'll try to do my best if I get the opportunity to play for the team.
At the end of the day the thing that counts the most is that the team wins this weekend."
For some of Solano's younger teammates Saturday's match is one of the most high profile games they have ever played in, but the 35 year old midfielder believes it is an occasion they must thrive on.
"Everybody wants to play in these kinds of games; it's always special to play against Newcastle United. They are at the top of the league now so it's a great opportunity for everybody. We have to focus on the game and try to win."
