Foxes' skipper Matt Oakley reflected on a "frustrating" night for Leicester City as they were held 0-0 by struggling Doncaster Rovers at the Walkers Stadium. The hosts had the better of the encounter but Oakley believes City needed to be more ruthless in front of goal.

"I think we had the best chances of the game we just didn't take them. They came for a point that was pretty obvious and they didn't really threaten us. We just didn't click tonight, it didn't quite happen for us."

Leicester's night could've been worse, but defeats for play-off rivals Blackpool and Sheffield United meant Nigel Pearson's side moved a point clear of the Blades in sixth place. Oakley is now hoping the Foxes can build on a run of three games without defeat.

"A point isn't too bad, we didn't get beat, and two draws and a win is better form than we were showing before."

City must now get ready for the visit of Scunthorpe United on Saturday, and Oakley believes the team must get their preparation right ahead of the visit of Nigel Adkins' side.

"We've got to put our feet up and get the massage in and the nutrition right because the games are coming thick and fast. We've got Saturday and then two long away trips to Bristol City and Plymouth so we've got to be ready."
