Weale Looks For Positives
Leicester City goalkeeper Chris Weale insists the Foxes' have something to build on despite being held to a goalless draw by Doncaster Rovers at the Walkers Stadium. City were the better side in a disappointing evening but Weale believes they must take the positives into Saturday's game against Scunthorpe.
""It was a clean sheet and we did create a few chances, and they were the better chances so we can build on that on Saturday now."
Leicester had been impressive in their last two games against promotion rivals Blackpool and Newcastle United and Weale admits it was disappointing not to build on those performances.
""Obviously that's what we set out to do but unfortunately it didn't happen tonight. For the fans and the people watching it was a frustrating night I imagine. For me watching it was a bit frustrating, when we didn't put away our chances, but hopefully we'll put it right on Saturday."
The night was marred further by the injury to City's top scorer Matty Fryatt who was stretchered off with a suspected fractured cheek bone, and Weale says it was difficult to watch his teammate in such pain.
"It's never nice, you don't want to think about it on the pitch but it's hard not to really.Everyone has had injuries in football, but this could be quite a bad one, so it's not nice at all."
