Pearson Previews Donny
City boss Nigel Pearson admits he is considering making changes to his weary team ahead of their trip to Doncaster Rovers, as the Foxes go in search of a seventh league game without defeat.
Leicester have been faced with a taxing schedule over the past month and tomorrow will be their sixth game in seventeen days. Pearson has named an unchanged side for the past three games but says it may be time to rotate.
"We might need to freshen it up a bit. We have to see how the last game has taken it out of the players.
We will get the recovery right and make sure that the players who start are ready to get on with the game."
Leicester had to defend bravely to secure a point against struggling Plymouth on Saturday, with Chris Weale and Jack Hobbs particularly impressive during the late rearguard at Home Park.
The draw kept Nigel Pearson's side in the final play-off place and the manager believes they are still on course to challenge for the Premier League come the end of the season.
"The promotion challenge is still on track. We have to bring all the qualities to the table, sometimes it is quality on the ball.
Sometimes it is mental qualities and the physical side of putting your body on the line and get a good performance. We showed the right attitude and commitment at Plymouth."
Pearson and his side are preparing for their second meeting with Doncaster in two weeks, but the Foxes' manager expects a different test to the one they faced at the Walkers, when the sides played out a 0-0 draw.
"They have had a bit of an in and out time. When they came to us, it was on the back of three defeats and I think that accounted for their negative tactics.
I would imagine it would be something slightly different at their place, they might play a bit more expansive football but it is always about what we do ourselves."
