Ahead of Saturday's League clash with Nottingham Forest (kick-off 3pm), LCFC.com will review recent memorable matches between the East Midlands rivals, starting with a convincing Premier League win for the Foxes on December 12, 1998.
The last City win over their local rivals at Filbert Street came in a season when Martin O'Neill's Foxes were in the ascendancy and Forest were heading for relegation.
In fact, the visitors were already in the bottom two by the time this pre-Christmas encounter came around.
There was just a slight jitter or two early on where Pierre van Hooijdonk put Forest ahead, but Emile Heskey produced a brilliant equaliser before Matt Elliott blasted home a spot-kick to give the Foxes the lead. Steve Guppy eventually made the points safe by scoring the third.
The afternoon got worse for Forest's Dutch striker, though, as he was also red carded.
Just under 21,000 were watching City that day, which will be topped on Saturday as the Ticket Office has already sold around 30,000 tickets for the match.
The easiest method to secure your seat is buying online by clicking here. Alternatively, visit the Ticket Office in person or email ticket.sales@lcfc.co.uk.
Tickets prices start from just £25 for adults, £20 for Over 60s, £15 for Under 22s and Under 18s and £5 for Under 12s. Tickets are FREE for Under 8s in the Marks Electrical Family Stand.
