Leicester City player-coach Chris Powell believes that young defender Michael Morrison must take a lot of credit for the way he has adapted to playing regularly at right back since the turn of the year.
Morrison signed from Cambridge United as a central defender, but has played at full back for the majority of this season, and has impressed during the club's current eight game unbeaten run.
Powell, a full back himself, believes Morrison should take a lot of credit for his efforts at right back.
"Michael should be given plaudits because he's playing out of position. We have a few chats with me being a full back by trade.
He sees the game slightly differently being used to playing in the centre. Now he has to get used to going into the opposition half, and almost playing as an extra winger."
Morrison went close to opening the scoring against Forest when his header hammered against the crossbar and Powell says it is important that the 22 year old continues to be a threat from set pieces.
"He's a danger in the box at corners and free kicks. He's scored one or two goals and I think he's someone who can always chip in over the course of the season."
The other youngster in the Leicester City backline is Jack Hobbs, the former Liverpool man has been imperious form in recent weeks and Powell believes he is enjoying life alongside the more experienced Wayne Brown.
"Jack Hobbs has been immense alongside Browny, I compared them to Tony Adams and Steve Bould today! They both should take a lot of credit for the way they've been playing."
