Two goals from in-form Adi Yussuf gave City's Academy side a 2-1 win at Portsmouth on Saturday to keep their undefeated League run going.

City went a goal down mid-way through the first half after conceding from a set-piece but Yussuf brought the visitors level with a good finish from the left to make it 1-1 at half-time.

City came out stronger after the break and Yussuf, following up last week's hat-trick for the Reserves against Scunthorpe, scoring what proved to be the winning goal.

The visitors came close to stretching their lead, hitting the bar, but there was one blemish on the day when defender Cian Bolger had to be taken off injured after a very bad clash of heads.

City now look ahead to Saturday's home encounter with West Ham at Belvoir Drive to extend their advantage at the top of Academy Group B
