Foxes assistant manager Craig Shakespeare has admitted that Leicester may go into their Championship showdown with Crystal Palace without defenders Wayne Brown and Alex Bruce.
Brown missed the 1-0 victory over Cardiff on Saturday with a hamstring injury, whilst Bruce was replaced before half-time with abdominal problems.
City finished the game with Nobby Solano at right back and Michael Morrison at centre half and may have to do the same at Selhurst Park.
Shakespeare believes the absence of two key defenders gives other players the chance to impress.
"Both (Brown and Bruce) probably won't be fit, but it'll give opportunities to others. We'll assess it again in the morning and see how they go.
"Whatever team we put out we expect them to give a good account of themselves."
If Morrison does deputise at centre half, Shakespeare expects a comfortable transition as the former Cambridge man has spent much of his career playing in the middle of the back four.
"Michael has been filling in at right back and doing a good job for us, but he shows the ability to play both positions.
"I think if you ask Michael he would say centre half is his natural position."
Saturday's win at the Walkers was the second time Nobby Solano has come on at right back for the Foxes and if he plays there tomorrow, Shakespeare says it offers City another option.
"He doesn't waste a pass, and enables us to get the ball out of defence. It's an option and we'll see what we go with in the morning."
