City midfielder Andy King has no doubt his goal in the 2-2 draw against Coventry at the Walkers Stadium yesterday was a good one - even though there were doubts that it had crossed the line.
He said: "I thought it was a goal immediately. I automatically thought it was over the line after it hit the underside of the bar. I have seen replays and it looks as if it was in but if it wasn't, I am not going to complain because I am on the scoresheet and I will take it.
"There is talk of their equaliser being off-side so it evens itself out."
That was King's second strike of the game and gave the Foxes a fantastic 2-0 interval lead but the Sky Blues hit back after the break and levelled with that debatable equaliser late on.
King said: "The first half was probably as good as we have played recently. I thought we were outstanding and on another day we might have got more but we have to pick ourselves up and make sure those chances go in on Wednesday against Reading. Going in at half-time with a two-goal cushion we felt comfortable but that is the way football goes and we have to learn our lessons from that and make sure it doesn't happen again."
