Weale: Five Massive Games

Foxes goalkeeper Chris Weale believes that despite a recent slump in form, having their play-off fate "in their own hands" after 41 games is something the squad would definitely have taken at the start of the season.

City have lost the last four league games but still hold a crucial one point advantage over Blackpool who sit one place outside the play-off places. Weale is under no illusions of the magnitude of their final five matches.

"We all believe it's a five game league and we need everyone to be focussed on beating QPR. We have five massive games left, five Cup Finals, it's exciting times now and we need to hit the ground running on Monday."

Weale had been largely untroubled against West Brom on Good Friday before a stunning strike from James Morrison gave Albion the lead.

Then a brace from Slovenian Robert Koren meant City were on the end of a slightly harsh 3-0 score line, but Weale is confident that the Foxes' luck will soon change.

"We did well against Albion just like we did against Cardiff it's just not falling for us at the moment. I'm sure in a few games time we'll be having a conversation about things have changed."

The final month of the season is set to provide a real test of City's mental strength, and former Bristol City stopper Weale believes a positive attitude is the key if they are to remain in the top six.

"I'm really excited, I'm enjoying the season. Yes we've had four defeats in a row but we've just got to put that to bed now and attack the next game. We need everyone to be positive and upbeat about things."
