Leicester travel to Cardiff this evening in what is arguably City's most important game in recent years.
On-loan midfielder Jay Spearing was disappointed that he and his team mates couldn't find a way through Cardiff's defence on Sunday, but insists it's still all to play for.
Spearing said: "We're definitely not out of it, it is only half time, we still have to go there and we are confident of getting a decent result that would get us to Wembley."
Cardiff striker and Championship joint top goal scorer, Peter Whittingham scored the only goal of the game, a free kick from 25 yards which went in off the post, past a helpless Chris Weale.
Spearing hopes that City's own strikers will be able to produce a piece of brilliance on Wednesday night after being unable to score on Sunday.
"I thought we could have done a bit better in the final third, we got in good positions well but nothing came of it."
"We are disappointed with the goal we conceded, but can't take it away from the lad (Peter Whittingham) it was a great free kick."
Foxes joint top goal scorer, Matty Fryatt, continued his comeback from injury and was unlucky not to grab the equaliser, after he latched on to a through ball from Nobby Solano.
"Matty was unlucky not to get a goal, but like I have said, it's only half time, we are disappointed to have not picked up nothing from the first leg, but we can go to their place and do something."
