As part of Leicester City's 125 year celebrations, a South Leicestershire Church, has bought a shed for the club.In 1884 members of Emanuel Church met in a shed on New Park Street and formed Leicester Fosse.
As part of the clubs anniversary, Living Rock Church has purchased a shed for the club in order to commemorate its history.
Richard Gamble, Leicester City Club Chaplain and Pastor at Living Rock Church said "I thought it would be a good idea for the church to remember Leicester City's roots by getting a shed."
"It's sort of lasting memento to our humble beginnings and also hopefully useful to Dave the gardener!"
My hope is that anyone visiting the club will be able to see and understand a little bit of our history."

Chief Executive, Lee Hoos said "The donation of the shed is a great gesture and an acknowledgment of the 125 year history of our football club.
"On reflection it is amazing to compare where the club were back then, in a shed not too dissimilar to this one, to where we are now, operating on a far grander scale at the Walkers Stadium."
With the help of John Hutchinson the club historian, a plaque detailing the clubs beginnings has been placed on the shed.
Club Historian, John Hutchinson said "I think that this shed and plaque provided by the Living Rock Church, is a brilliant idea because it neatly sums up the two main elements in the origins of Leicester City FC, namely a garden shed and a chapel."
"Our great club was formed in a garden shed behind a house on Fosse Road by a group of boys, many of whom attended a bible class at the nearby Emanuel Chapel."
"Leicester City isn't the only club that was originally connected to a church or a chapel. Aston Villa, Everton, Fulham and Bolton, to name just a few, were also originally affiliated to a church or a chapel."

After the roaring success of the recent 'From Shed to Stadium' exhibition at Snibston Science Museum, Leicester City's club historian, John Hutchinson, will be hitting the road exhibiting 125 years of Leicester City Football Club.
City supporters visiting the Records Office, Long Street, Wigston Magna between May 17 and July 8 will be able to see a number of the fine artefacts that made the 'From Shed to Stadium' exhibition so successful.
Over 13,500 visitors made the journey to Snibston to find out more about the history and heritage of the club's journey from the humble beginnings of Leicester Fosse, through to what we now know as Leicester City Football Club during a hugely popular ten week run in association with Leicestershire County Council.

An informative and nostalgic trip down memory lane, the exhibition will also highlight Leicester City's links within the local community, highlighting the heritage of where our famous football club began.
Present for the launch of the '125 Years of LCFC exhibition' will be City legend Howard Riley. A veteran of a near 200 games, Riley's presence at LCFC spanned the 50's and 60's as part of one of City's great teams.
