Leicester City attacker, Paul Gallagher, says he is delighted to have settled down at a club that shares his own lofty ambitions.

Gallagher, 25, joined the Foxes' from Blackburn Rovers last season and believes he is at a club that is moving in the right direction.

City reached the Championship play-offs last season, and Gallagher is confident that everyone at the club has the desire to do even better this time around.

"We're trying to achieve things here, we've got a very ambitious Chairman, a very ambitious manager and all the players are ambitious.

As a club there's only one place we want to go, and that's the Premier League. We came within touching distance last year and hopefully we can go one step further.

The squad we've got is a good squad, we've not lost many players,but we're still altogether as a squad that came up from League One and took the Championship by storm!"

City suffered semi-final heartbreak at the end of last season, losing 4-3 on penalties to Cardiff after the sides were inseparable over two legs.

Gallagher says the manner of that defeat will give the Foxes extra advantage going into the 2010-2011 campaign.

"When you've had that massive disappointment at the last hurdle there's only one thing in the mind that you want to do and that's put it right.

Luckily in football you get another chance to do that. We've got a big season in front of us and a new gaffer. The fans will all be excited and hopefully they'll keep coming in their thousands to cheer us on.

We're going to give it everything, like we always do in every game and hopefully it won't be a one season wonder and we'll be up there fighting. We've got no-one to fear in this league."
