Leicester City's Club Secretary, Andrew Neville, knew that the challenge of climbing Mount Kilimanjaro was not going to be an easy one. Day 4 of the trip brings him and his fellow climbers face-to-face with the mountain, causing a fair amount of apprehension for Andrew.

Day 4:

"This is the moment I have been worried about for the last few weeks. My chronic back condition and my dodgy knee...but anyway.

We are now standing here overlooking the border, looking across over Kenya, ready to begin.

Got up at 6am this morning, 4am U.K time, we had to travel by bus for quite a few hours over what was some fairly dodgy terrain.

Ready for the start now, I want to do my best now to see how much I can raise. It is of course a great personal challenge but I really want to raise as much as possible for Harley's charity.

Loading up the water now and then we are off."

With day 4 now underway Neville and his team begin the trek with a 7km climb up to 2635m.

Andrew is climbing Mount Kilimanjaro to raise money for the Harley Staples Fund, a Leicester based charity set-up in loving memory of 8-year old Harley Staples.
