Following a couple of days without connection, Leicester City Club Secretary, Andrew Neville's Kilimanjaro climb continues as he begins to get to grips with the altitude and the intense heat that the climbing team are up against.
Andrew, noticeable moved by the experience, is now well into the business side of the trek as he gives us an emotional view of the last couple of days.
Day 5:
"Yesterday morning again we woke up to a fantastic view of the mountain, the warm sun was a real welcome to us all. By yesterday lunchtime we had gotten up to 4300m.
It is much, much higher than the clouds and it is quite weird looking down from above them.
We have all had to be very careful not to get sunstroke with the heat, I have had to cover up with factor 50 to keep going through the sun.
Yesterday afternoon after lunch we climbed up to 4600m to acclimatise ourselves and came back down again and we slept at 4200m last night.
I walked out during the middle of the night last night and the sky...I cannot describe the sky, absolutely unbelievable. A pure black sky with hundreds and hundreds of stars. You just couldn't describe it you would have to see it to believe it."
Day 6:
"I am very tired from yesterday, my right calf is causing me some problems and I began to feel quiet nauseous due to the altitude.
Have slept well last night and am ready to crack on again today.
So far we have done another 6km today and have actually came down now to 3700m. We will be resting here today before we go up again tomorrow.
That's where we are at the moment, it is difficult to breath up here, but I am still ok.
Sometimes I think I can do this other times I think I can't...I miss my family, I miss my friends but I am really determined to do this.
I want to do it for so many people and I really want to raise as much money as I can for the Harley Staples Fund, so please log on to www.harleystaples.co.uk if you want to support me in getting to the top of this thing.
Just a pound each from City season ticket holder would raise around £14,000!
Going to have a rest now and be ready to push on tomorrow."
