Leicester City centre back, Jack Hobbs, believes it's too early to start worrying about poor form, after Saturday's 3-0 defeat to Burnley left City without a win in their opening three league games.
The loss at Turf Moor briefly left City at the foot of the Championship table, but Hobbs says City are determined to turn the corner starting with booking their place in the third round of the Carling Cup with a win against Leeds United at Elland Road.
"It's three games, and it's only early days. We've got a lot of time to put it right and there's no better time to start than against Leeds before we play Reading on Saturday."
Hobbs and City head to Yorkshire to face Simon Grayson's Leeds United, who won their first league game of the season on Saturday beating Millwall 3-1.
City have lost just once in their last four visits to Elland Road, but Hobbs expects a difficult test against a side that won automatic promotion from League One last season.
"It's going to be a very tough game. They are a very good side, especially at home and I'm sure they'll get good support even in the Cup.
But we're looking forward to it, and it's a chance for us to put a few not so good results right."
With the second round draw seeded, a trip to Leeds was one of the toughest ties City could have got, but Hobbs says a win in Yorkshire could prove a massive lift for Paulo Sousa's squad.
"It'd be good for the team to win at Elland Road, I think it would galvanise us and we could build from there.
If we can win it will bring us a lot of confidence and then hopefully we can kick on. We'll be doing everything we can to win the game."
