The two week break for international football has given Leicester City the time to reflect on the ups and downs of their start to the season and according to striker Steve Howard, it is time to kick-on when the action resumes next weekend at Coventry City's Ricoh Arena.
He said: "I think we have to look forward. We had a good win at Leeds United in the Carling Cup and then we lost to Reading, which was undeserved. I think we just need the breaks at the moment and the wins will follow."
Morale remains high in the camp because the standard of play is higher than the results reflect as Howard explained.
"The football is great and everyone is enjoying the way we are playing. It is just about the breaks that's all. If we were performing badly, it would be different.
The fact that we are playing some good stuff keeps us going. We are dominating games, without winning them yet."
The return of Martyn Waghorn boosts the attacking options. Howard welcomes his old mate back, even though it means increased competition.
He said: "He is a good player, great to see him back, another Geordie too! He did fantastically well for us last season. The chances are being created at the moment, so I'm sure he'll do well."
