Former Foxes captain Ali Mauchlen is appealing to fans to help the newly formed Ex-Leicester City Players Association.
Mauchlen was today joined by (l-r) Richie Norman, Tommy Williams, John Sjoberg, Pete Welsh, John Ogilvie, Alan Birchenall, Cliff Ginnetta (Chairman of the Supporters' Club), Robbie Jones, Paul Bunce, and Paul Ramsey to launch the new association at the Walkers Stadium.
The group will have their own office at the ground, organise their own functions, run an ex-players football team and operate with the club on Premiership matchdays meeting up with supporters and corporate guests.
And now Mauchlen, who is chairman of the association, is looking for supporters to help in their quest to contact a long list of former greats.
He said: "We have got 367 names of former players on the database at the minute, but unfortunately we have only got 85 addresses.
"We would love to get in touch with as many ex-players as possible and hopefully the internet can act as a tool to help us to do that.
"If any of the fans know the whereabouts of any Leicester City player who has made at least one appearance for the first team them we would love to know.
"Supporters can email the club at webmaster@lcfc.co.uk and any information passed on will be greatly received."
Mauchlen went on to confirm who the association had come about.
He added: "Paul Mace (Chief Operating Officer) made a phone call to me out of the blue and asked me if I would be interested in bringing some ex-players back to the football club.
"He told me the format. There was to be a small committee formed including Alan Birchenall, Paul Mace, Alan Bennett and myself to get it up and running.
"We then looked at it geographically to see if we could bring in some other people from different areas.
"John Ogilvie and Tommy Williams came to the fore because they are Leicester people and they come to the football club on a regular basis.
"I think the association is massively important. It will be great for the atmosphere surrounding the football club."
