Leicester City officials have again expressed their surprise at continuing season ticket sales, despite the fact that the discount period has already passed.
Having given existing season ticket holders the chance to renew their seats at a special discounted rate, Foxes fans are rushing to snap up the best seats in the house from which to enjoy all of City's home league matches.
Season ticket sales are key to generating the finances to help Rob Kelly build his team for a promotion bid in the coming campaign.
The club's Head of Football Administration, Chris Tinbergen, is happy with the level of activity so far in the ticket office here at the Walkers Stadium.
He told us: "The period between the passing of the renewals deadline and the release of fixtures is traditionally our quietest of the year, as many people take a break from football, but season ticket sales have continued to come through at a steady rate in the past couple of weeks which is a pleasant surprise for us.
"As has already been mentioned a number of times already recently, our season ticket campaign, more than ever before, will be hugely significant for the club next season.
"The higher number of season tickets we have by the time the squad begin pre-season at the beginning of July, the more options are available to Rob and his team."
Season tickets for the upcoming Championship campaign offer great value, with adult prices starting at just £335 (less than £15 per game) and supporters are reminded that there's still time before the May 31 cut-off to take up the payment plan offer and spread the cost over three installments.
