Central defender Miguel Vitor was Paulo Sousa's first signing as Leicester City manager, the youngster signed on a season long loan deal from Portuguese giants Benfica.
Vitor made his Benfica debut aged just 18, in August 2007, making appearances against Vitoria de Guimaraes and FC Copenhagen in the Champions League.
Later on that season joined Desportivo das Aves on loan, and made eight appearances during that spell.
Vitor made the majority of his Benfica appearances in the 2008-09 season, making 23 appearances, before being limited to just seven game the season after.
Vitor's start to life at City was ravaged by injury, he tore his quadricep just 21 minutes into City's pre-season friendly against Jagiellonia Bialystok. Then on his comeback from injury in the Totesport.com Reserve Cup final against Oldham Athletic he pulled up again this time after just thirteen minutes.
