A naturally-talented player with excellent vision and poise, King's sense of timing and opportunity has seen him reach double-figures in the scoring stakes in each of the last three season - hitting a career high of 16 during 2010-11.
Andy joined the City academy in 2004 and played an instrumental part in the side that went on to win the FA Premier Academy League in 2007.
The midfielder signed a two-year contract with the Foxes in the summer of 2007, and went on to make his full debut against Wolverhampton Wanderers in October 2007.
King went on to make a total of 12 starts during his first full senior season and his spectacular strike against Southampton was nominated for the Club's goal of the season award.
He played a key role in City's League 1 title-winning campaign of 2008/09, before stepping into the Championship and truly bolstering his reputation.
He scored 11 times in his first season at that level as City reached the Championship play-offs, and then 16 times the following campaign to be named in the PFA Team of the Year for the npower Championship.
Capped nine times by Wales, King signed a long-term contract with the Foxes in April 2011, keeping him at King Power Stadium until June 2015.
