Astrit Ajdarevic joined Leicester City on-loan on transfer deadline day, Thursday March 26th 2009, with the deal keeping the 18-year-old Liverpool midfielder at the Walkers Stadium until the end of the 2008/09 season.
Ajdarevic was on trial with the Foxes when City boss, Nigel Pearson, decided to take a more detailed look at the Swedish youth international, who has been capped at under-17 level.
In 2007, he was part of the Liverpool FA Youth Cup winning side, overcoming Manchester United on penalties at Old Trafford, in the two-legged final.
Ajdarevic made his debut for Leicester against Carlisle United on Saturday April 4th 2009, replacing Max Gradel in the 70th minute.
