Camps are suitable for boys and girls of all abilities and as of 2020, children as young as seven can now get involved in our camps, up until the age of 14 years.

Our latest football camps will be split into half days, from 9:30am-12:00pm or 13:00pm-15:00pm and will cost £17.50 for two days.

We have adapted our delivery around the current COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Government and FA guidelines, the following shall take place at each camp:

• Camps will adhere to local Government and FA guidance, including socially distanced training sessions.
• There will be increased levels of personal hygiene opportunities throughout the camp, including regular handwashing and use of anti-bacterial hand gel.
• Pre-COVID-19 screening questions shall be asked to all participants prior to sessions commencing.
• We will only be accepting pre-booked participants, ensuring maximum numbers are adhered to.
• All staff members have received additional safeguarding and risk management training in relation to the new procedures which are required.
• All equipment used will be sanitised before use.

*Delivery is subject to change, depending on Government and FA guidelines.

“It has given me a lot of confidence seeing them back and being physically active, but in a way that is safe for the children to enjoy at the same time.”

Amy Robertson, parent

You must bring appropriate clothing and footwear, shin pads, water and a packed lunch onto any of our camps.

FA-licensed LCitC coaches (with a DBS) will deliver fun and productive sessions helping youngsters to improve their ability throughout each camp.

Participants can expect a day consisting of skills development sessions, engaging challenges, and small-sided tournaments.

At the end of every camp, participants will receive Leicester City merchandise for taking part.

The LCitC Football Camps have been a great success for our club, the children are engaged all day and parents give positive feedback. We are looking forward co-hosting many more camps in partnership with LCitC - it’s nice to see the Club bringing grassroots football into villages like ours.

Skills Centres

Throughout the school term, Leicester City in the Community’s Skills Centres provide an opportunity for children to play football in a fun and friendly environment under the guidance of experienced coaches.

Skills Centres are suitable for children of all abilities (aged 5 to 11) and give youngsters the chance to develop their football skills, under the guidance of UEFA B Licenced and FA Level Two Qualified Coaches.

Our sessions are available for both boys and girls at a cost of £48 for a 12-week block, which works out at £4 per session.

There are also opportunities to progress within the Talent ID pathway for players demonstrating the required ability and selected children may be invited to trial days at the end of each block.

My son has been doing Skills Centres for three years – we find the LCitC coaches are really helpful and friendly.
