Leicester City in the Community’s popular Football Camps take place at grassroots football clubs around Leicestershire over school holidays.
Camps are suitable for boys and girls of all abilities and as of 2020, children as young as seven can now get involved in our camps, up until the age of 14 years and will consist of both mixed sessions.
Each of our camps during February half term will run from 9am-3pm (GMT) and will cost £15 for the day.
You must bring appropriate clothing and footwear, shin pads, water and a packed lunch onto any of our camps.
FA-licensed LCitC coaches (with a DBS) will deliver fun and productive sessions helping youngsters to improve their ability throughout each camp.
Participants can expect a day consisting of skills development sessions, engaging challenges, and small-sided tournaments.
At the end of every camp, participants will receive Leicester City merchandise for taking part.

Throughout the school term, our Skills Centres provide an opportunity for children in Leicestershire to play football in a fun and friendly environment under the guidance of experienced Leicester City in the Community coaches.
Skills Centres are suitable for children of all abilities (aged 5 to 11) and give youngsters the chance to develop their football skills, under the guidance of UEFA B Licenced and FA Level Two Qualified Coaches.
Our sessions are for both boys and girls, but we also run a girls-only session at Beaumont Leys.
Children will have the chance to learn technical skills, develop their decision-making within the game and improve their social skills in a fun and relaxed environment. The sessions are designed to benefit each player individually, with a focus on ball each work and small-sided games.
Starting in January 2020, we are also running Goalkeeping-Specific Skills Centres for players who aspire to be the next Kasper Schmeichel!
There are also opportunities to progress within the Talent ID pathway for players demonstrating the required ability and selected children may be invited to trial days at the end of each block.
We currently run sessions at the following venues:
- Judgemeadow Community College
- Beaumont Leys High School
- Charnwood College
