Grassroots Coordinator

Leicester City Football Club are recruiting a Grassroots Coordinator to span across the Club's Supporter Engagement Team and the Community Trust.

About The Company

Following a period of growth, Leicester City Football Club and Leicester City Football Club Community Trust are recruiting a Grassroots Coordinator to span across the Club’s Supporter Engagement Team and the Community Trust. 

About The Role

The Grassroots Coordinator will develop a positive working relationship with Leicestershire and Rutland FA, will become the main contact for registered Charter Standard Clubs, source insight from partners and respond through the development of a new ‘Grassroots Scheme’ that will support, coach and develop local grassroots teams and ensure connectivity to Leicester City Football Club. 

The key duties of this role will include working alongside the Community Trust to deliver coaching sessions, working closing with the Supporter Engagement Sales Assistant to develop matchday experiences with group bookings. It will also include monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of the Grassroots Scheme.

Who We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will hold an FA Level 2 Football Coaching qualification and be educated to degree level. They will have knowledge of Grassroots Football Clubs and their challenges. They will have experience of working within multiple teams and will be able to effectively communicate professionally with a variety of roles from a variety of backgrounds. They will be able to work on their own initiative and will be committed with self-motivation.
