- Leicester City must learn to be more clinical against the Premier League’s elite, says Demarai Gray
- The Foxes winger spoke highly of his side’s performances against the league’s top six sides
- City were beaten 3-1 by Tottenham last weekend, but have defeated Chelsea and Manchester City this campaign
Memorable victories over Chelsea and Manchester City and a 1-1 draw at then leaders Liverpool across December and January are evidence of City’s willingness to attack the top flight’s most talented teams.
Gray, who made his 100th Premier League appearance during the 3-1 defeat by title challengers Tottenham Hotspur last weekend, says the Foxes can be proud of how they have risen to the challenge of facing the league’s heavyweights in 2018/19.
“It’s been a tough run of games for us,” reflected Gray. “We’ve done well in every game. We’ve been dominant in the majority of the games against top six sides this season.

The goals from Wembley Stadium as Claude Puel's side are beaten 3-1 by Spurs in the Premier League.
“We’ve got results against teams like Chelsea and Man City and against other teams in the top six, we could have got results out of the games.
“It’s not like we’ve come up against these teams and had a nervous attitude. We’ve come and attacked these teams and played really well.
“We’ve just been unfortunate in front of goal. Not many teams come away against the top teams and apply pressure like we do.”

Speaking after the 3-1 reverse to Spurs at Wembley, Gray called for City to be more clinical in their upcoming fixtures, with Crystal Palace visiting King Power Stadium on Saturday 23 February (5:30pm GMT kick-off).
The No.7 added: “We have to be more ruthless in front of goal. Performance wise, we should be proud because we were the better team.
“The performance was very good, there’s a lot of positives. If we take some of our chances in the first half, and I had one in the second half as well, it changes the game. It didn’t happen like that.”
