Diabaté, 23, has been on loan with the Sivas-based club since January, making 11 appearances so far as Hakan Keleş' men look to close in on top-half finish.

Following Omer Sahiner's 22-minute opener for Konyaspor at Konya Büyükşehir Stadium on Saturday afternoon, Diabaté pounced to secure a 35th point for his loan club.

Sivasspor next entertain Beşiktaş at Yeni Sivas 4 Eylül Stadyumu on Monday evening (6pm BST kick-off), with a chance to climb as many as seven places to fifth.

Elsewhere, Adrien Silva continues to impress at AS Monaco, following a January loan deal which included Belgium's Youri Tielemans heading to King Power Stadium.

Silva's loan move to Monaco has coincided with a turnaround in fortunes.

Silva has made nine appearances for Leonardo Jardim's side who, since the Portuguese's arrival, have pulled away from danger in Ligue 1. They are now seven points clear of 18th-place in France's top tier.

The 30-year-old midfielder started for Les Monégasques in Saturday's 0-0 draw with Stade Reims at Stade Louis II, ahead of Sunday's trip to face reigning French champions Paris Saint-Germain (8pm BST kick-off).

Elliott Moore, meanwhile, appeared for the 26th time this season for Oud-Heverlee Leuven, who sealed a vital 3-0 Proximus League win over Roeselare at King Power at Den Dreef Stadium on Sunday.

The victory puts OHL top of the Play-Off 3 standings, five points ahead of bottom-placed Roeselare with two games to play. The side who finishes bottom will be relegated from the second tier.

Fellow Academy graduate Josh Knight, on the other hand, also tasted victory at Peterborough United on Saturday, a 1-0 Sky Bet League 1 success at Blackpool.

Moore was a key man as OHL took a big step towards preserving their Proximus League status.

After recovering from an injury sustained on his Posh debut in February, Knight has now made two successive appearances for Darren Ferguson's men, including a 2-0 win over Gillingham.

They next tackle Fleetwood Town at Highbury Stadium on Friday (3pm BST kick-off) and could close the gap to the play-off places to just two points.

Also in England's third tier, Wales midfielder George Thomas was a starter for Scunthorpe United, but the Iron succumbed to a 3-0 home defeat by Burton Albion on Saturday afternoon.

Thomas, 22, has made 35 appearances for Scunthorpe in all competitions this season - and could add another against Blackpool at Glanford Park on Friday (3pm BST kick-off).

Finally, goalkeeper Daniel Iversen featured for the 42nd time for Oldham Athletic during a 2-2 draw with Swindon Town at Boundary Park on Saturday, leaving them 13th in League 2.

Pete Wild's men head to Cheltenham on Friday for a 3pm BST kick-off at Jonny-Rocks Stadium.

Defender Filip Benković, now back from injury, was an unused substitute for Celtic's 3-0 win over Aberdeen in the Scottish Cup semi-finals.

Islam Slimani (Fenerbahçe), Bartosz Kapustka (Oud-Heverlee Leuven), Callum Elder (Ipswich Town) and Darnell Johnson (Hibernian) also did not appear.
