The Foxes bring their Premier League 2 Division 1 campaign to a close in a 7pm BST kick-off at Emirates Stadium on Friday evening and are currently sat in eighth-place in the standings.

Should results go their way over the final weekend of the season, City's youngsters could climb as high as fifth in Division 1, but they first need to return from the capital with three points secured.

Johansson, who has made 27 appearances for Leicester's Under-23s during his maiden season at the Club, says everyone in the camp is eager to finish with a flourish ahead of the summer.

Johansson Excited By Emirates Stadium Test

Goalkeeper Viktor Johansson sits down with LCFC TV to preview the Development Squad's final outing of the season at Arsenal on Friday night.

"The mood is good, we want to get something out of the game and we’re really looking forward to finishing on a high," the Swedish shot-stopper told LCFC TV at Belvoir Drive earlier this week.

"We’ve done some research, but we need to focus on our game and what we need to do to prevent them from doing what they do, so it’s been a good few weeks preparing for the game.

"We have had a little bit of a dip in form over recent weeks so we want to make sure that we finish the season as strongly as possible now and get a good feeling about next year."

Reflecting on his first full season at Leicester City, Johansson, 20, also expressed the pride he feels to represent the Club and revealed how much at home he feels at the training ground.

"I’m really enjoying it," he added. "The lads have been perfect and everything, the training ground and just the city overall have been really good so I’ve been really enjoying it.

"It’s been great, [manager Brendan Rodgers] has come down to watch training sessions and all the boys are happy about it. They like his playing style and stuff like that so it’s good.

"As I said, I’ve really enjoyed it here, all the coaches and all the players have been really good to me, so it’s all positive."

Supporters can watch the match against Arsenal U23s live and for free on LCFC TV, with Sean St Ledger on commentary, from 6:45pm BST on Friday.
