One Of The Biggest Tests Of Our Season, Says Ricardo

The Portugal international scored a stunning winner for the Foxes in a 2-1 win over the champions back in December, but says everyone is aware of the challenges to come.

Manchester City have won their last 12 matches in the Premier League and will retain the title - if they secure a maximum of six points from their final two league matches.

Speaking to LCFC TV this week, Ricardo said: “It’s one of the biggest [tests] this season, I guess! They’re one of the best teams here and they’re playing at home.

“They are running for the title and it’s a very important game for them and it’s their last game at home so it will be the hardest game for us.”

While much of the pre-match discussion will be cantered on Manchester City’s objectives, Ricardo insists that Leicester’s only focus will be securing a vital three points.

The Foxes have progressed at an impressive pace under Brendan Rodgers' management over previous months and are determined to end the season on a high note.

“It was a good result that we had before [the 2-1 victory in December], but we know two games are not the same.

“It will be different, and we will be away. They are running for the title and there are two games left. It will be different, and harder.

“We have our goals, too, but they’re not the same. They have more to lose than us, but I think it depends on the way you use that pressure in your favour or not.”
