The 21-year-old attacking midfielder, who has been at the Club since the age of nine, committed his future to Leicester City on Friday.
During a brilliant breakthrough season, Barnes scored his maiden goal for the Foxes and ended the campaign with a call-up to England's Under-21s squad.
The Young Lions will head to Italy and San Marino this summer to compete in the UEFA European U21 Championship, Barnes' first major international competition.
