Choudhury Excited For Premier League Opener

Hamza Choudhury spoke to LCFC TV following the Foxes' final pre-season friendly against Atalanta at King Power Stadium.

"Hopefully we can start with three points and then obviously start as we mean to go on. I'm really, really excited. I think I said before, I’m trying to get as many games as I can.

"I want to help push the team forward. If that’s obviously playing in the starting line-up or coming on from the bench, then I’m excited to get started."

Discussing the week ahead, which is likely to include more intense training under the management of Brendan Rodgers, the Academy graduate reiterated his commitment to the cause.

He [Rodgers] wants intensity every day – obviously in training and in games, so it definitely won’t be light, definitely won’t be relaxed, but we’re looking forward to it.
