Evans: We Know About Wolves' Quality

City and Wolves shared three points apiece in the Premier League last term, while Nuno Espírito Santo's side secured a place in the qualification stage of the UEFA Europa League.
Ahead of the opening weekend of the 2019/20 campaign, Evans discussed the respect he and his team-mates have for the Molineux outfit.
"They’re a good team," the Northern Ireland international told LCFC TV. "We played them quite early on last season (a 2-0 win). We realised then they are a very good side.
Evans: Confidence Heading Into New Season

"Obviously, they’ve got the European competition (UEFA Europa League), they’re doing a lot of travelling for that, but it’ll still be a very, very tough game for us at the weekend.
"I think they're a team that, if we’re looking around us, they’re going to be in and around the same position as us this year and it’s up to us to see if we can push beyond that."
Evans is also thrilled by the prospect of opening the new season in front of the Club's supporters for the first time since City's 2015/16 title-winning campaign.
"It is nice," he continued. "You don’t always get the home fixture to start and it’s a big bonus and a big advantage.
"Hopefully we can take advantage of that and go into the next two away games, which are tough away at Chelsea and away at Sheffield [United].
"We hope that can count for us and help us build a nice little points tally."
