Leicester City’s PL International Cup Fixture Dates Confirmed

After discovering their opponents for the Premier League International Cup last week, City’s fixture dates for this year’s competition have now been confirmed.

- The Foxes reached the quarter-final of last year’s competition

The Foxes reached the quarter-final stage of the PL International Cup last season and have been drawn in Group A alongside Arsenal, GNK Dinamo Zagreb and Villarreal CF this time around.

They will start their campaign with a home clash against GNK Dinamo Zagreb before welcoming Villareal CF to Holmes Park and ending the group stage with a trip to Arsenal.

As per the PL International Cup's rules, there are six four-team groups, each including two invited international clubs and two Premier League 2 sides.

Each club will play against all of their group opponents once, and all matches will be played in the UK, either at the home grounds of the Premier League clubs or neutral venues.

All of City's Premier League International Cup fixtures will be broadcast live and for free on LCFC TV this season.

Meanwhile, the Development Squad begin their Premier League 2 campaign on Monday evening against Everton (7pm BST kick-off) - a fixture that will also be broadcast on LCFC TV following LCFC Radio's Extra-Time.
