Praet's 17-minute cameo during the clash at Stamford Bridge gave City supporters a glimpse of his talent - and the Belgium international midfielder is looking forward to showing more.

Reflecting on his maiden outing for the Foxes with LCFC TV, Praet, 25, admitted that he was struck by the tempo of the Premier League encounter, while also expressing satisfaction with the result.

"It was okay, I came into a really intense game on the pitch, but it was good," the Leuven-born midfielder said. "I’m very happy with my first minutes and I think 1-1 here in Chelsea is not bad.

Praet: It Felt Good To Be Out There

Dennis Praet reacts to making his first appearance in Leicester City colours during Sunday's 1-1 draw at Chelsea.

"It was not easy. Like I said, there was a lot of tempo. It was going from our goal really fast today. It was intense, but it felt good.

"It’s a good result, but I think also, we could have made a second goal. In general, we can be happy with a point here."

City weathered an early storm on the day Frank Lampard managed Chelsea for the first time at Stamford Bridge, but Brendan Rodgers' men ended the game playing dominant, attacking football.

After already impressing the Blue Army, Praet is excited by the prospect of settling in at the Club and showcasing his ability further over the coming weeks.

"We played a good game," he added. "I think only in maybe the first 15 or 20 minutes, they pressed us really high and we had some difficulties, but after that, we had a really good game.

"Of course, I hope to play as much as possible, but I’m happy with what the coach can give me."
