Book On To Leicester City in the Community’s Latest Skills Centres!

- Leicester City in the Community’s Skills Centres return the week commencing Monday 9 September, 2019
- Due to popularity, two new sessions for five to seven-year-olds have been added
- The sessions, available to book now, run weekly over the course of 12 weeks at various locations across Leicestershire
- Participants will develop their football skills under the guidance of UEFA B and Level 2 qualified coaches 

The weekly Skills Centres are suitable for children of all abilities (aged five to 11) and give youngsters the opportunity to develop their skills in a fun and friendly environment under the guidance of UEFA B and FA Level 2 qualified coaches.

The programmes, which return on the week commencing Monday 9 September, include a range of different activities from fun shooting games to one-on-one challenges and small-sided matches.

Children will have the chance to learn technical skills, develop their decision-making within the game and improve their social skills in a relaxed environment. 

There are also opportunities to progress within the Talent ID pathway for players demonstrating the required ability and selected children may be invited to trial days at the end of each block. 

The sessions take place weekly with further details below*: 

New: Tuesdays – Judgemeadow Community College (LE5 6HP) – 4:30pm – 5:30pm – five-seven years – Mixed
Tuesdays – Judgemeadow Community College (LE5 6HP) – 5:30pm – 6:30pm – seven-11 years – Mixed
New: Thursdays – Beaumont Leys School (LE4 0FL) – 4:30pm – 5:30pm – five-seven years – Mixed
Thursdays – Beaumont Leys School (LE4 0FL) – 5:30pm – 6:30pm – seven-11 years – Mixed
Fridays – Charnwood College (LE11 4SQ) – 5:30pm – 6:30pm – seven-11 years – Mixed

*All times stated above are BST until Sunday 27 October, when they will be GMT.

Sessions are charged at £4 per week and bookings are taken in 12-week blocks.

Children MUST bring shin pads and suitable footwear in order to be able to participate and we encourage children to bring plenty of drink along to each session as well.
