Ricardo, 25, has become a fans’ favourite since joining the Club from FC Porto in the summer of 2018, and has played every minute of the 2019/20 Premier League season.

Prior to this weekend’s fixture against Spurs, Ricardo chats to CITY Matchday Magazine about the Foxes’ start to the season, life in Leicester and facing his countrymen in England’s top flight.

“I think we’ve made a good start overall,” reflects Ricardo. “Looking back at some of the games, perhaps we could have done better with some results but every game in the Premier League is difficult.

“In this league, the table can change very quickly, and it’s still very early in the season. It has been a solid start but we know we have a lot to improve on.”
