Elliott: A Chance To See The Next Generation

Premier League 2 Division 1 football returns to Holmes Park in Whetstone on Friday in a 7pm BST kick-off - a match which is available live and for free on LCFC TV from 6:45pm BST.
Speaking ahead of the clash, former Foxes captain and LCFC TV pundit Elliott spoke with excitement about the opportunity to watch the Club's next generation in action.
"I always like to be involved in different aspects of the Club and I’m privileged to do so and in particular I do enjoy enjoy watching the Under-23s," he said.
"Some of the lads herald from my time when I was involved on a part-time basis coaching at the Academy, some of those boys are still coming through the system.
"Many of them have even ventured through into the first team, like Ben Chilwell, Hamza Choudhury and Harvey Barnes, and I’m sure some of these lads could do the same.
"They’re just under that umbrella, trying to push themselves into contention to follow in their footsteps, so I’ll be taking a keen interest in their performances on Friday."
Elliott also believes the opportunity to see the Club's youngsters in action, either in person at Holmes Park or live on LCFC TV, is not to be missed.

Leicester City Development Squad fixtures will be available for free on LCFC TV throughout the 2019/20 season.
"It’s always nice to play locally, it’s great for the local community and supporters who are based around Whetstone to see the up-and-coming players at the Club," he added.
"It’s a decent facility, the pitch is as good as anywhere you’re going to find and, on top of that, you’ve got the prospect of Liverpool coming to town as well.
"I’m sure it’ll be a good way to start your Friday night and the lads will be looking forward to getting another win under their belts.
"Games like this, as the name suggests, are about development as much as results and it’s about finding the balance between the two in games like this."
