- Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha Memorial Garden to open on Sunday 27 October
- Supporters are invited to contribute to the creation of the garden this Wednesday
- Only a limited number of spaces are available between 2pm and 5pm

The garden, which will act as a lasting tribute to the memory of Khun Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha and the four others who lost their lives at King Power Stadium last year will open on Sunday 27 October – the first anniversary of the accident.

It is designed to be a peaceful space that will protect the scene of the accident and provide a lasting memorial to the lives of Khun Vichai as well as staff members Kaveporn Punpare and Nusara Suknamai and pilots Eric Swaffer and Izabela Lechowicz.

A private multi-faith ceremony will take place on Sunday 27 October, before the garden will open to the public at 2pm, after which it will remain open to everyone during daylight hours.

With preparations now nearing completion, the Football Club wishes to give some supporters the opportunity to play a role in the final stages of construction, with several tasks still to be done, such as the planting of flowers in key areas of the site.

The Football Club has a very limited number of spaces and they will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

For supporters interested in taking part, please email help@lcfc.co.uk with your details and availability between the hours of 2pm and 5pm on Wednesday 23 October.
