City are currently the most in-form side in the Premier League, and next entertain Marco Silva’s outfit on Filbert Way as they seek to deliver another brilliant display in front of the Blue Army.

When quizzed about whether he has been part of a team that has enjoyed such a fruitful return of points as the Foxes have in recent months, Maddison spoke of his previous experiences in his football career to date.

“Obviously, I played with Coventry in League 1, which was kind of up and down results, and Aberdeen was good,” Maddison said. “I won quite a lot of games there, but never anything like this.

“It’s five Premier League wins on the bounce now, and we don’t want to stop now. We want to keep going because it’s such a good feeling.

Training Special: Everton

LCFC.com were once again at Belvoir Drive to capture the Leicester City players as they continued their preparations for Sunday's game against Everton.

“How I’ve described the place, we don’t want to stop because we’re going to work with a smile on our faces every day. We hope to keep that going and we’ll see where that takes us.”

City’s momentum has carried them up to second in the Premier League rankings after 13 games, and with the best defensive record in the division, continuing that productivity is a priority for Maddison.

“There’s a great feeling at the place,” he continued. “Training is intense, and we don’t want to take our foot off the gas. I’m not just saying that because I’m talking to the media right now, training is really good and it’ll be no different going into that game.

“It’s about what we do, and we’ve got to beat Everton on Sunday. That’s how we’ve got to look at it.”

For me, he’s been excellent and [he’s] just helped me with little pointers and it’s made a world of difference.

James Justin

For Justin, who signed for City from boyhood club Luton Town, emphasised the value of working with manager Brendan Rodgers, who he says has already helped him improve his game after only working with him since the summer.

“For me personally, he’s a top, top manager and you’ve heard his name around for ages,” said Justin. “He played when he was younger, but he obviously got injured, so he kind of knows how it feels to be a young player at a club.

“For me, he’s been excellent and [he’s] just helped me with little pointers and it’s made a world of difference.

“I can see myself improving on the pitch every single day and every time he tells me something, you have to actually take a step back and think about it because what he’s actually telling you is something that will just blow your mind.”
