Leicester City Development Squad players George Hirst and George Thomas have been nominated for November’s Premier League 2 Player of the Month award.

The young Foxes won all three of their games during the month, claiming victories against Manchester City, Sunderland and Derby County respectively.
The pair were on the scoresheet in PL2 against the Citizens and the Rams, while Hirst also found the net in an impressive Leasing.com Trophy triumph over Sunderland.
A total of seven players have been nominated for the award, with the winner to be announced on Friday 13 December on the Premier League’s online channels.
The shortlist was chosen by the Premier League Football Development panel after coaches nominated the best performances by players in each league fixture.
