Three goals in the space of eight second-half minutes handed Silva’s side all three points, with Wissam Ben Yedder, Guillermo Maripan and Keita Balde Diao all on the scoresheet.

In Italy, Algeria international winger Rachid Ghezzal completed just over 50 minutes for Fiorentina in their 2-1 defeat by Torino.
