Here at Leicester City Football Club, we achieved outstanding success as Premier League champions in 2016. As Leicester City grow, the Club is recruiting for a Casual Academy Soft Tissue Therapist to join the Academy Team and be responsible for the provision of soft tissue therapy to the Development Squad and Academy squads as required.
About the role
You’ll be required to support the U23 Academy Physiotherapist/Head Academy Physiotherapist on Development Squad matchdays with pre-game player and equipment preparation. You’ll provide medical assistance at games and give immediate attention to injured players under the direction and supervision of the matchday Physiotherapist and Doctor.
Key requirements
- You will hold a BSc (Hons) Degree in Sports Therapy or a Level 4 certificate in sports massage therapy.
- You will hold an FA Level 2 Emergency First Aid in Football (EFAiF) qualification.
- You will have previous experience in a similar role within an elite sporting environment.
- Above all, you’ll be able to clearly demonstrate the Academy values in your working style and communication.
