Security Officer

The Club are hiring a Security Officer to help with the monitoring of all staff, customers and guests to ensure their wellbeing and health & safety whilst on Leicester City property.

Leicester City Football Club, also known as the Foxes, is a top-flight English football club, in their sixth consecutive season in the Premier League. In 2015/16, ranked as 5000-1 outsiders, Leicester City were crowned Premier League champions.

In 2010, the Club was bought by Asian Football Investments, a Thai-led consortium fronted by King Power’s founder and Chairman, Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha. The stadium was named King Power Stadium in 2011 and one year later in 2012, King Power International became sole owners of the Club.

About the role

The key duties of this role include:
- the monitoring of all staff, customers and guests to ensure their wellbeing and health & safety whilst on Leicester City property
- undertaking routine checks of all designated door entrances, gates, fencing and perimeter lighting
- preventing access into restricted areas by any and all unauthorised persons
- presenting management with incriminating or circumstantial evidence of any unusual or suspicious behaviour by employees or guests

Who we're looking for

The ideal candidate will have proven security experience which they can support with references and will hold an SIA qualification. They will be able to demonstrate that they can deal with difficult situations, have the ability to problem-solve and be proactive. They will also hold a current first aid certificate.

Hours per week – 42 (including evenings, weekends and matchdays)
