We're Ready For 'Stern' Brentford Test, Says Justin

Brendan Rodgers' men travel to Griffin Park to tackle Sky Bet Championship side Brentford in the Emirates FA Cup Fourth Round on Saturday (12:45pm kick-off).

With a Carabao Cup Semi-Final second leg tie at Aston Villa to also look forward to, the Foxes are in healthy shape in all competitions, but Justin expects a tough test at Brentford.

"It’s a competition we’d love to do well in and we’ve got to get past the next test in Brentford," the England Under-21s international told LCFC TV on Friday.

"We know it's going to be a tough test, as they’re doing well in the league and obviously, we’ll look forward to playing them.

"We’d like to play at home all the time in the FA Cup, but sometimes the draw isn’t with you. We’ve got to go to a tough place at Brentford and hopefully we can get the job done.

We like to stay in all the competitions and do well in all the competitions. So far, we’ve done that this season and hopefully we can push onto the next stage in the cup competitions we’ve got soon.

"I know they’re a free-flowing football team and they like to ‘do things the right way’, in quotation marks, but it should be a stern test and one that we’ll be up for."

The strength in depth available to Rodgers has been particularly useful in cup competitions, with Justin making two Carabao Cup appearances and three in the Premier League.

"We’re just using our squad," the 21-year-old, signed from Luton Town last summer, continued. "We like to stay in all the competitions and do well in all the competitions.

"So far, we’ve done that this season and hopefully we can push onto the next stage in the cup competitions we’ve got soon.

Goals: Leicester City 2 Wigan Athletic 0

Both goals from the Emirates FA Cup Third Round victory over Wigan Athletic at King Power Stadium.

"Everyone just walks onto the pitch on a Saturday or a Tuesday night or a Wednesday night, whenever it may be, just full of confidence and just thinking you’re going to win every game.

"That’s what we like to instil in ourselves. That’s what the boss tries to drill into us, the winning mentality, and hopefully we can do that."

While excitement builds of a possible run in the FA Cup, the only major domestic honour to allude Leicester in their history, Justin says they are focused only on Brentford.

"Everyone knows that the FA Cup is the most sought-after domestic trophy bar the Premier League maybe," he added.

"Hopefully we can progress to the next round and then we’ll think about that."
