King Power Stadium To Host Tactical Insights 2020 Conference

Industry professionals are invited to join experts from around the world at King Power Stadium for a special conference focusing on the use of performance analysis and data analytics in the football sector.

- Leicester City to host second Tactical Insights Conference
- Focus on bridging the gap between coaches, performance & data
- The February 2020 event is now on sale

Set for Wednesday 19 February, 2020, the conference will be hosted by leading sports broadcaster Ed Chamberlin and led by a host of industry-leading speakers – including from FC Barcelona – as fellow professionals gather once again at King Power stadium to gain an insight into how modern football clubs are bridging the gap between coaches, performance and data.

Alongside insight from keynote speakers and staff at Leicester City Football Club, the event will look to spark debate and encourage information sharing through its focus on dialogue and openness with fellow professionals.

Presentations will focus on how insights gained through performance and data analysis can be translated through coaching into successful execution of tactical strategies during games. They will also showcase how cutting-edge and best-practice workflows, which include insights from the relatively new discipline of data analytics, are translated to the coaching process.

Each keynote presentation will be delivered collectively by a coach and performance and/or data analyst from the same top professional club or federation, and will discuss how tactical strategies of a specific phase of play are delivered to their players as part of their attacking or defending game plan.

In a progressive and fast-moving industry that continues to show its undoubted value to the world of professional sport, this conference is the perfect opportunity for Performance Analysts, data scientists and coaches to continue their own professional development, make key contacts and improve their knowledge and skillset; students looking to pursue a career in football are also welcome.

The current list of attendees includes practitioners from most Premier League clubs and International FAs, while ticket prices have been subsidised for staff from EFL clubs, academies and the Premier League’s women’s teams to encourage a diverse audience.

Tickets for the conference and further details about the date and venue are available now by clicking here.
