Norwich are currently bottom of the Premier League standings, while City are third, but Daniel Farke's men did take a point from their visit to King Power Stadium in December.

While they are seven points adrift of safety, Rodgers says the Canaries' performances throughout the 2019/20 season have warranted more points and highlighted the quality which exists in their squad.

“All the games are difficult and Norwich have shown that they’re a dangerous team,” Rodgers explained, speaking to the national media on Wednesday ahead of Friday's fixture.

Rodgers Wary Of 'Dangerous' Canaries

Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers previews Friday's Premier League trip to Norwich City.

“We’ve seen that when we drew here earlier on in the season. They sit at the bottom, but for us, it doesn’t really matter where they are in the league.

“They’re a good side, they’ve got creative players, they’re a dangerous team to play against, especially at home, where they’ve had some very good results.

“I saw their performance against Liverpool, one of their last games at home, and they played very, very well.”

Leicester were on the end of a narrow 1-0 defeat at home to Manchester City last time out. Rodgers, though, says full focus is now on getting three points from the trip to Norfolk.

“We know it’s going to be a tough game, but we’re off the back of a good performance," he added. “It wasn’t quite the result that we wanted against Man City, but there was a lot of pleasing aspects of our game, in terms of our intensity and aggression in the game.

Training Special: Norwich

Watch as the Leicester City squad gear up for Friday night's Premier League encounter with Norwich City.

“Our mindset will be ready for a tough challenge [against Norwich] and hopefully we can respond. If we take that into to our last 11 games, then we think we can do okay.

“We’ve got lots of tough games ahead of us, but games that are really exciting for us. I couldn’t have asked any more from the players, but we’re pushing our demands.

“The standards that we’ve tried to set over the course of our time together means that we want to keep pushing and for that, we’ll just keep looking at our next game.

“We haven’t been as consistent with the results, but the assessment will be at the end of the season and now we just go onto the next challenge and look to pick up three points there.”
