The young goalkeeper has had significant involvement for the Millers during his 2019/20 loan spell.

After committing his future to City, Iversen believes that his experience at New York Stadium will prove invaluable, and can only help him to progress.

He added: “It’s really great at Rotherham. To be top of League 1 is fantastic. It’s a really good club to play for and I’ve been happy with my performances for Rotherham this season.

“The players there are really good as well and we’re having a great season, so I’ve enjoyed it so much and I’m excited for what’s to come.

“There’s been some great games for me at Rotherham. I think the home game against Coventry, which we won 4-0, was perhaps my favourite. It was a really good team performance.

“Of course, I didn’t have too much to do that game, but everyone performed to their best and that’s the one which I remember the best from my time there so far.”
